The new pastry and bakery production workshop of “Kritikos Fournos” marks a modern and functional expansion of one of Crete’s most established bakery brands.
Designed and constructed by ERGOKAT , the project combines high sanitary standards, energy efficiency, and optimized production flow, fully aligned with the company’s growing operational needs.
The building houses production, packaging, and storage areas, alongside refrigeration chambers, raw material handling zones, and auxiliary facilities for staff and logistics.
Special emphasis was placed on industrial hygiene, air quality, and temperature control, integrating modern HVAC systems and thermal insulation materials to maintain stable and efficient conditions throughout the production process.
The workshop’s structural system was designed for durability and flexibility, allowing future equipment upgrades or layout changes without disrupting operations.
High-performance electromechanical installations, energy-saving LED lighting, and a fire safety network ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with current European standards for food production facilities.
Through this project, ERGOKAT once again demonstrates its ability to deliver turn-key industrial and commercial constructions, combining engineering precision with practical design — creating a workspace that enhances productivity, hygiene, and sustainability for one of Crete’s leading pastry producers.
